Haryana Police SPO recruitment 2026: Haryana Police has announced the engagement of 400 Special Police Officers (SPOs) in its Telecommunication Wing under Section 21 of the Haryana Police Act, 2007. The press notice was issued on August 18, 2026, and the engagement is open to eligible ex-servicemen of the Armed Forces and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), along with former Constables of the disbanded HSISF and HAP Battalions.There is no online application process or written examination for the engagement. Eligible candidates must submit their applications and documents in person according to the district-wise schedule. They must have passed Class 12 and have at least five years of service in the Armed Forces or CAPFs. Applicants must not have been removed or dismissed for indiscipline, misconduct or medical unfitness.The medical category at discharge should be A, while the discharge character certificate should be rated Exemplary or Outstanding. Preference will be given to candidates with experience handling telecommunication equipment, particularly those who served in the Signal Corps.Selection will involve document verification, medical examination and character and antecedent verification. Selected SPOs will undergo a 15-day capsule training course. No written or physical test will be held.Salary and documents requiredSelected SPOs will receive a monthly honorarium of Rs. 20,000, credited directly to their bank accounts. A one-time uniform allowance of Rs. 3,000 and TA/DA of Rs. 150 per day for official tours are also applicable.Candidates must bring the completed application form, original documents with one set of attested photocopies, required affidavits and four passport-size colour photographs. No application fee is payable.The engagement will initially be for one year and may continue until regular appointments are made. SPOs will not be posted at their home police station, although preference may be given to their home district subject to availability.
